About Us
In November 2008, the Southern Crescent Pearls Foundation, Inc., was created. The non-profit foundation is an affiliate of the Psi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. that focuses on efforts to provide scholarships for graduating seniors who attain high academic excellence. The Psi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a chapter of less than 100 young women. The chapter has been serving Clayton and Henry Counties in the south Atlanta Metro area since December 10, 2005, when it joined a national organization with a purpose of “Service to all Mankind”. The chapter’s core values include sisterliness and mutual respect, public service, unity and collaboration, personal integrity and accountability, fair and ethical business practices, and the pursuit of excellence.
